RMI is a leader in organic residuals management throughout the northeast. RMI annually recycles over 300,000 yards of residuals and has an established reputation for high quality products and excellent services for municipal wastewater treatment facilities (WWTF). Since 1994 RMI has worked with its clients to ensure the best possible operational configuration, and maintain the highest standards for customer service and regulatory compliance.
The impetus for creating RMI came from a common desire among dedicated professionals to work for a local northeast company that is committed to providing clients with responsive, innovative and high quality organic residuals recycling services. The staff at RMI have worked in all facets of the organic residuals field and comprise a breadth of experience covering agronomy, engineering, soils, operations, sales, project management, and regulatory compliance.
Throughout our 25 years, RMI has worked alongside other excellent organizations in creating solutions for municipal and industrial customers. RMI recently had an opportunity to partner with a long-time associate to offer proposals and solutions to wastewater facilities in NY, VT, MA, CT, NH and ME. This came about because RMI was looking for a solution for its own Residuals Management Facility in New Hampton, NH, and the Shincci-USA technology RMI found is so impressive that RMI is now sharing and advancing the Shincci-USA dryer to its customers and other interested parties.
RMI has partnered with Sunstate to expand the opportunity for WWTFs to use this technology. RMI is the exclusive Representative for Sunstate east of the Mississippi River. RMI believes this technology will be a game changer for the wastewater industry. Whether treated sewage sludge, septage, paper sludges, food sludges, manure slurries, or other liquid materials, they all need to be dewatered and dried to optimize management and disposal, or the potential for recycling. The Shincci dewatering and drying systems are the solution.
Sunstate Environmental Services Inc. is the sole Distributor of the Shincci-USA dewatering and dehumidification technologies in North and South America. These technologies can dewater liquid sludge and dry the generated cake sludge to 90% solids or higher. The final product meets Class A requirements for pathogens and vector attraction reduction in conformance with U.S. EPA Part 503 sludge/biosolids rules. The dewatering and drying systems are two types of solutions that can be implemented separately or jointly. Drying can be utilized as an independent module.
