Resource Management, Inc. (RMI), headquartered in Holderness, NH, has an immediate opening in our Operations Department for a CDL-A Truck Driver. This full-time year-round position will operate on routes that originate in the New Hampton, NH area and that range throughout New England, eastern New York State, and Quebec, serving as a critical link between the generators and end users of our products.
Qualified Candidates Must:
- Possess a valid CDL-A.
- Have a minimum of 18-24 months operating experience, ideally including experience with dump/belt trailers.
- Experience operating on unimproved roads and going “off road” when necessary is highly desirable.
- Have experience operating in winter weather conditions.
- Be proficient with 18 speed transmissions.
- Be able to load trailers using a front end loader.
- Be willing to do minor repairs to the truck and trailer.
- Be willing to work overtime.
- Be willing to work in a team environment.
- Have a clean driving record.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, background check and motor vehicle record review.
- Possess and maintain a current valid DOT Medical Card and US Passport.
About RMI:
Founded in 1994, RMI specializes in developing and managing cost-effective, environmentally sound recycling programs for industrial and municipal producers of organic residuals including biomass facilities, wastewater treatment facilities, and paper producers throughout New England and Eastern New York. RMI recycles the organic residuals produced by these facilities in our robust land application program, which includes agricultural land application, reclamation and restoration projects, roadside construction projects, and more – all with the goal of building healthy and productive soils throughout the Northeast.
About the Position:
Our drivers typically work a five day, 40-60 hour work week with periodic weekend and overnight requirements. Compensation will range between $25-$26.50/hour depending on experience and include overtime for weekly hours worked in excess of 40. The successful candidate will be eligible for RMI’s employee benefits package which includes health, dental, and disability insurance, IRA with company match, and a generous paid time off program.
Our drivers generally operate their routes out of an assigned truck, giving them the ability to establish familiarity and confidence in the equipment they operate and maintain. We provide our drivers with the tools and the training to excel and encourage continual feedback and open communication to ensure that every team member feels heard and has what they need to do their job safely and effectively.
Given the geographic distribution of RMI’s business activities, this position requires the ability to sit and operate a motor vehicle for extended periods of time. During the course of the day, the Truck Driver may be required to enter/exit the vehicle numerous times, manipulate trailer tarps, and perform other physical tasks associated with the job.
