Another NEWEA Annual Conference & Tradeshow in the books and not even a massive snowstorm could slow it down! As usual, the hardworking folks at NEWEA organized another seamless tradeshow with an abundance of sessions, roundtables, events, and opportunities to build connections, plus a showing of “Unless Something Goes Terribly Wrong,” the documentary spotlighting the Portland Wastewater Treatment Facility! We also observed such a willingness from others throughout the conference to step up and volunteer their time if a session moderator or coordinator was absent due to the weather. This really highlighted the fact that we’ve got a great group of people in our New England water community!
We had plenty of familiar faces stop by our exhibitor booth to chat and catch up, and that’s always one of the best parts of the show. We were also awarded a plaque commemorating our ten years of participation at the annual NEWEA Conference, which was such a thoughtful surprise. Here’s to another ten years, and we will see you all at the spring show!
